I started treating single-use plastic like a bad habit about five years ago. Like with any habit that needs cultivating, it's become so much a part of my life that it's second-nature.
The biggest reason anyone uses single-use anything like bags, containers and straws is convenience. Get past that and you'll go through your every day routine knowing that you aren't contributing to the tens-of-millions of tonnes of plastic waste used every year that end up in landfills, oceans and the environment.
What are you doing to lessen your impact on the environment? I'd LOVE to hear from you!
